Last time out, there were 5 January scratchcards released, this time we have 4 new cards that will start appearing in shops imminently.
DOUBLE MATCH SCRATCHCARD
The Double Match scratchcard is similar to other cards we’ve seen over the years, including the £2 Monopoly Yellow (with the second chance game), Payout and Instant £200 scratchcards.
The gameplay of this is a bit different, but there are 5 jackpots of £50,000 available to won.
With over 10,000,000 scratchcards in circulation, the odds of winning are 1 in 4.24.
With two ways to win, it is relatively simple to play.
Reveal the two winning numbers and match any of your numbers to win.
You can also win by matching three identical prize amounts underneath your number – much like the £1 scratchcard games.
Interestingly, you can match 8 numbers AND match three identical prize amounts on a scratchcard.
DIAMOND RICHES SCRATCHCARD
This scratchcard is the same type of game as the Super Cash Bonus scratchcard – which is surprisingly still in circulation with 3 jackpot prizes remaining
Like the Super Cash Bonus game, the jackpot prize is £100,000 and there are 5 top prizes available to be won.
Odds of winning are 1 in 4.23, slightly better than the Double Match scratchcard.
The jackpot prize available is £500,000, with only 3 jackpots available. This is poor in comparison to other 5 scratchcards. The second top prize on this scratchcard however, is £50,000
You can win 14 times per scratchcard, with odds of winning 1 in 3.54.
With the 4 bonus games on the scratchcard, reveal a ‘5’, ’10’, ’20’ and ’50’ number to win that cash prize respectively.
Game 1: Match 3 identical symbols in any of the 5 rows to win the corresponding cash prize. Game 2: Match your winning symbol to any of your symbols to win.
