November 2018 introduced us to 7 new National Lottery scratchcards.
Amongst the new scratch cards include the Cash Pyramid scratch card and new Cashword scratchcard.
As well as this, there are 2 new exclusive scratchcards, the £1 Happy Birthday Scratchcard and £3 Pot of Gold Scratchcard.
£100,000 Yellow Scratchcard
Let’s start with the scratchcard we tend to see most often.
Here is the £100,000 Yellow scratchcard, the same £1 scratchcard we see all the time, but this time in yellow.
There are 11 jackpots available of £100,000!

How to play £100,000 Yellow Scratchcard
Do we really need to explain this game?
If we do, match 3 identical values to win the prize. Alternatively, find a diamond in the bonus game and win the prize amount.
Happy Birthday Scratchcard
This game is EXACTLY the same as the £100,000 yellow scratchcard, it just looks different.
Obviously, The National Lottery are targeting people who buy scratchcards for their friends.

How to play the Happy Birthday Scratchcard
Match 3 identical cash values and win the corresponding prize. Find a balloon, and win the bonus game cash prize.
There are 5 jackpots of £5,000 available!
Cash Pyramid Scratchcard
Here’s a new scratchcard design we’ve not seen for a while. Whilst there has been similar games to this, this is the first cash pyramid scratch card.
The £2 scratchcard has a jackpot of £100,000, with 5 top prizes available to be won.

How to play the Cash Pyramid Scratchcard
Scratch off your three winning numbers located in the top left corner of the scratchcard.
Proceed to reveal all the number in the 6 rows, match any of the numbers with your winning numbers and win the prize for that row.
There is also a multiplier option, in the form of a Cash Pyramid scratch card X2 symbol. Simply reveal the multiplier symbol and win double the prize amount!
Cashword Bonus Orange Scratchcard
Here we go again, with the new National Lottery Cashword scratch card.
Whilst we’ve seen many cashword games before, this is the new version of the yellow scratchcard with the scratchcard bonus game.

How to play the Cashword Bonus Orange Scratchcard
Reveal your 19 letters at the top of the scratchcard.
Scratch off the same letters in the main game play area, to reveal as many full words as possible.
Reveal at least 3 complete words to win the minimum prize of £3, reveal 12 words and win the jackpot of £300,000!
We’ve seen many people having difficulties with this scratchcard. This is mainly due to the new bonus game feature.
Although there is no Cashword scratch card checker, we have written a detailed guide on how to play this scratchcard – check out our Cashword Bonus Scratchcard guide.
Pot of Gold Scratchcard
Here’s another new scratchcard design from The National Lottery.
Pot of Gold is a £3 scratchcard, with a jackpot prize of just £50,000. Surprisingly, there are only 5 jackpots available considering the low jackpot prize for a £3 game.

How to play the Pot of Gold Scratchcard
You have 8 rows in the play area. Scratch off the panels on each row to reveal the symbols.
Reveal 3 identical symbols in a row and win the corresponding prize amount.
There are 2 bonus games also. Reveal a moneybag symbol in the bonus game and win the prize amount. In the extra bonus game, reveal a coin, and also win that prize amount.
It is possible to win on every row AND both bonus games, a total of 10 wins per scratchcard – the most you can win this way is £100!
Monopoly Scratchcard
Here’s another £5 monopoly scratchcard, slightly more colourful than the previous versions released this year.
However, it is very much the same game play as before. There are 4 top prizes of £1 million to be won!

How to play the Monopoly Scratchcard
There are 3 bonus games and 3 main games on the scratch card:
BONUS GAMES: Reveal a Mr Monopoly, GO symbol or tap symbol in the corresponding bonus games 1, 2 and 3 to win the prize amount.
GAME 1: If the 2 numbers add up to 10, win the prize amount.
GAME 2: Match two identical dice numbers and win the prize amounts.
GAME 3: Match your symbols to the winning symbols and win the prize amounts.
Gold Scratchcard
Here’s a brand new scratch card format for you all the get excited about. The scratchcard simply named ‘Gold’ is a £5 game, with a somewhat reduced jackpot of £500,000 of which 5 prizes are available.

How to play the Gold Scratchcard
With 20 chances to win on this scratchcard, there are a few ways to play.
In the bottom left of the scratchcard, there are 4 bonus games; find a £5, £10, £20 and £50 symbol to win the corresponding amount.
In the main scratchcard game, reveal the 4 winning numbers, and match any of your numbers to these winning numbers and win the prize – a total of 16 chances on this main game to win!
It’s been a while since 6 scratch cards* have been released all in one go! (*now 7 as of the 19th November).
