It’s been a wild ride for Mark Goodram and Jon-Ross Watson since we first reported they won the top prize on a £4 Million scratchcard with a ‘stolen’ credit card.
In the months that followed, they have hired a lawyer to try and claim their money (without success) and frequently been the subject of many other negative headlines.
However, things have gone from bad to worse for Mark Goodram, as he has just been sentenced to 25 months in jail for headbutting his girlfriend.
As reported by the Daily Mail, Goodram struck his girlfriend in an incident occurring in Bolton Town Centre in September 2019. After a day spent drinking and taking drugs, he pursued his girlfriend before pursuing her and throwing her around when the assault occurred.
It didn’t stop there though.
After his arrest, Goodram continued to contact his (presumably ex-) girlfriend with letter and threats, promising he would look after her once he claimed his scratchcard winnings.
Ultimately, it didn’t end well for Goodram.
He was sentenced for 20 months for GBH and a further 5 months for perverting the course of justice.
Regardless, the £4 million jackpot prize still hasn’t been claimed, and it doesn’t look like it will be paid out anytime soon.
