Graham Potts from Sandbach, Cheshire has just been announced as a National Lottery scratchcard jackpot winner after winning £300,000 on the 2021 Jewel Smash scratchcard.
The 56-year-old purchased the winning £3 scratchcard after a stop at his local One Stop stop. Once he got home, he scratched the card to reveal he had won the top prize.

Graham told the National Lottery,
“It still all feels a little surreal! I saw the number 3 and just thought I had won £3. I then started to see zeros but thought I was just seeing double or had maybe won £300!”
After ringing the National Lottery, he had his top prize confirmed, claiming,
“I just fell silent. I didn’t know whether to laugh, cry, shout or what to do!”
After celebrating with a glass of beer before bed, he still got up early to go to work as a traffic management engineer.
Graham plans to spend his new found fortune on some new fishing gear, and treat his three children – Joe, Megan and Tiffany.
