We released the details of the £2 scratchcard – Lions Share Doubler – back in June, which featured a new game name but similar design. However, it has not taken long for National Lottery to release the details of a top prize winner!
Sunderland mum, Louise Tate, is the lucky winner of this story. After unfortunately having to have her eye removed, a couple of days later, Louise treated herself to the £2 scratchcard.
After matching three elephant symbols in a row, it dawned on Louise that she had in fact won the top prize. After winning the prize, all she had to do was convince her husband Stuart that she had really won!
She said,
“He just thought I was winding him up and kept saying ‘you have got it wrong’. I kept saying, ‘no, I haven’t, you really must stop the car’!”
Louise plans to spend her winnings on a gold elephant pendant, some home renovations and a family holiday to Florida, America. Maybe she can win big with one of the many scratchcards available from Florida Lottery!
