Yes, you’ve read that right.
A shop manager from Dungiven, Northern Ireland is the latest scratchcard jackpot winner to go public, just two months after the last jackpot winner went public – also from Northern Ireland.
26 year old shop manager Shawn Keeley, won £1 million on the £50 Million Mega Cash Showdown scratchcard released in April 2020, from the very shop he works in!

After finishing a shift at his store, he cashed in some previous winners. Deciding to invest in more scratchcards, including the jackpot winner!
Initially, he thought it was just a prank. However, after checking the scratchcard multiple times, he realised that it was in fact real and rang the National Lottery to confirm his prize.
Shawn has decided to invest in a new holiday – lockdown permitting, a new Range Rover as well as sharing his new found wealth with his family members.
And his job?
Well, Shawn enjoys it so much, he has decided to continue with his job at the shop. I bet he’s just hoping he can just win another scratchcard jackpot.
But it begs the question, should staff be allowed to buy scratchcards from the stores they work in?
